| Hello, send me a proper rental agreement with your name, address, the address of the property, the available date for move in, etc.
Actually, don't bother. I will not deal long distance. Thank you for your time. There are many other rental properties, and I will not lease a home without seeing the inside first. PERIOD! You will not be getting me to fill out that improper bit of personal information. You offer nothing tangible in return.
Oh, and the house is still listed (and the Realtor confirms) for sale at $535,000. Straighten your house situation out! What you're doing screams scam. If you're a scam artist, please do not send another email. If you will not meet me, or have someone meet me at the house, don't email again. I will not do anything short of see a house inside and out (in person), and sign a proper, legally binding lease with an authorized agent (Realtor or you).

| After due consideration, my husband and I have decided that dealing with someone at a distance is not a comfortable arrangement. We will be going to Massachusetts in a few weeks to view potential homes. If you can have someone meet us there on the 26th or 27th of this month we will add your home to our list. We will, of course, be wanting to view the interior of the homes we are considering. We will put in an application on the homes we decide we like in person.
Thank you for your time, Michelle --- On Wed, 2/9/11, House For rent wrote: From: House For rent Subject: Re: Four bedroom home for rent in Brockton, MA To: "Michelle" Date: Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 4:00 AM

| No deposit until I am able to see the inside of the house. I will not send any money until I am able to see the inside of the house, and decide if it is the right one for my family. I'm sure you can understand because I have to drive a long distance to see the house.
The Realtor may still have keys to the house. I'll show them your emails and ask to be shown the property.
Thanks! --- On Tue, 2/8/11, House For rent wrote: From: House For rent Subject: Re: Four bedroom home for rent in Brockton, MA To: "Michelle" Date: Tuesday, February 8, 2011, 2:56 AM

| I spoke to Exit Realty... the company selling the home that you claim to own. They say you're a scam artist. I already knew that. Please stop this!!! People are poor these days, and cannot afford to be taken advantage of. The lady I spoke to said you have already taken money from people, and that they have to deal with the angry people that will not be getting any keys from you. I hope you are not successful in harming anyone else.

Hi, I did get your response concerning the AD I posted. My Name John Mendoza ,The house is still available but presently I'm not around.. I did bid for a portion of petroleum land sometimes ago in West Africa and fortunately I won the bidding so I have to move quickly down to Africa to have my company set up because I will still have to rabid for it in the next 5 years. I came over here with my Family, My wife and i both bought the house when we got married. As soon as we settle down here I had a thought of selling the house so I have to look for an agent, after getting one, we got a deal but later my wife advised against that. She said we may not be able to win the bidding next time, in other to keep our head when we return that we have to keep the house. I reasoned with her and accepted her advise. So I contacted the agent back and requested for my keys and documents. Later we decided to have the house rent out, we would have give the same agent this job also but the truth of the matter is that the agent would want to handle it professionally and the occupant may not be able to reason along with him later. If you notice, you will discovered that the price we are offering is far below standard price, this is enough for you to know that we are not after the rental fee but the absolute care for the property. I know there is no way I can be sure that you are the right person to live in the house because we won't be able to see physical before sending you the keys and the documents to occupy the space. But I just had a feeling that anyone who knows what it takes to put the kind of structure down should know that maintaining a building is mandatory, so if you belief you can take good care of the house and handle it like yours then I will be more than happy to let you rent the house. Please if you are ready now to occupy the house kindly provide the information below for record purpose.

| My family will be relocating to that area and I'd like more information. Could you send the address so I can look at it on Google maps/satellite? Could you also send pictures of it? I'm currently in Tennessee, so will have to do a great deal of my browsing for rentals at a distance. How is the home heated? What are the average electric bills? I see the rent is $1,000 per month. How much is the deposit and do you need first and deposit up front or first, last, and deposit?
Thank you, Michelle |
